Megan joined The Diffley Partnership in April 2022. Prior to this, she completed her third level education at Ulster University, graduating with a distinction in MSc Social Policy and 1:1 in BSc Health and Social Care Policy. Both degrees provided insight into key social policy issues, including those relating to employment, economic development, migration, inequalities and health and social care.
Megan also gained practical experience of project management and delivery during her work placement at an independent advice centre. Here, she employed her knowledge, attention to detail and focused attitude in collaborating with service providers and undertaking a mixed methods project on client satisfaction.
While skilled in qualitative and quantitative research, Megan also appreciates the benefits of tapping into other approaches – such as participatory and creative methods – when collating and executing research. Additionally, she enjoys sharing knowledge with, and learning from, others, and relishes opportunities to create ideas and recommendations.
